Mirror Positions는 선택한 레이어의 위치를 화면의 중심을 기준으로 반전시키는 스크립트입니다.

After Effects로 다양한 모션그래픽을 만들다 보면 화면 중심을 기준으로 레이어를 반대편으로 보내야 할 일이 생각보다 많죠. 대칭 구조를 이룬다던가, 변화를 주기 위해 화면을 반전시켜야 한다던가.

하지만 화면 반대쪽으로 보내는 것도 쉽지 않습니다. 마우스로 직접 끌자니 이 위치가 맞는지도 모르겠고, 그렇다고 이를 위해서 사전 구성(pre-comp)를 하는 것도 번거로우며, 그나마 가장 확실하고 편한 방식이 Position 값을 직접 계산(컴포지션 너비 또는 높이의 절반 a+(a-현재 위치)하여 설정하는 것인데, 이마저도 레이어가 여러 개라면 역시 고통이기 때문입니다.

Mirror Positions는 클릭 한 번으로 이 과정을 대신해 줍니다. 심지어 레이어 여러 개를 한꺼번에 처리할 수도 있죠.

이 작은 스크립트가 여러분의 작업 시간을 절약해 줄 수 있기를 바랍니다.

Mirror Positionsは、選択したレイヤーの位置を画面の中心を基準にして、反転させるスクリプトです。

After Effectsを使用して様々なモーショングラフィック映像を制作する際、画面の中央を基準とし、レイヤーを反対側に配置したい場合がよくあります。

例えば、シンメトリーに配置したい時や、画面を反転した演出が作りたい時などが挙げられます。

しかし、レイヤーを反転させるのはそれほど簡単にはいかないです。

マウスで直接移動させようとしても厳密な値か分からないし、プリコンポジションを作成することも手間です。

手動で作業する時には、Positionの値を直接計算することで、現在の位置を足し算や引き算などで測定する方法しかないのでが、これも複数のレイヤーの場合はより手間がかかります。

Mirror Positionsは、一回のクリックでこれらのプロセスを自動化し、複数のレイヤーにも一気に適応することができます！

それほど大した機能ではありませんが、皆様の作業時間が短縮できるなら幸いです。

Mirror Positions is a script that reverses the position of layers based on the center of the composition.

When creating various motion graphics in After Effects, there are often situations where I need to send layers to the opposite side based on the center of the screen. This could be for creating symmetrical structures or introducing changes by flipping the screen.

However, sending layers to the opposite side of the screen is not always easy. Dragging them manually with the mouse can be uncertain, and setting up pre-comps for this purpose can be cumbersome. The most reliable and convenient method is to calculate the Position values directly by using half of the composition width or height and adding/subtracting the current position. But even this becomes a hassle when dealing with multiple layers.

Mirror Positions simplifies this process with just one click. It can even handle multiple layers at once.
